Standing in the wild Lithuanian forest where Laimonas' bees make this honey you see no sign of human activity.
His bees love to roam in the forest in Spring and early summer, where they enjoy the nectar from the wild Blueberry bushes and wild Raspberries – as well as later taking sap from Oak and Pine. Enjoy the purity of Laimona's honey.
Flavour: This antibacterial honey has a delicious fruity flavour from the Blueberry and Raspberry with slightly spicy notes. It is a beautiful 'alive' taste experience.
Please note this honey is a solid honey that is completely crystallised but if you prefer it runny you can follow our video for liquefying your honey.
Colour: Medium - please note this honey is crystallised.
Where does the honey come from? Beekeeper Laimonas has his hives, in the wild northern forests and wildflower meadows of Lithuania which are untouched by the industrial agriculture that blights much of Europe. His bees produce a range of honeys, from the nectar of berries and herbs along with honeydew from Oak and Pine.
Who produces the honey? Beekeeper Laimonas follows an ancient tradition of beekeeping handed down from his grandparents and his grandparents' grandparents. This heritage gives him a deep knowledge of bees and honey which enables him to produce very high-quality honey.
Please know that raw honey does crystallise and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey. For more information on why honey sets visit this article and for a more scientific explanation go to wikipedia.

Raw honey
Beautiful nature produce to be cherished

One of the money underrated honeys
As someone who eats honey every day and has 10+ top-end honeys at home, I can say this is one of the best honeys around. I keep coming back to it over and over. It's subtle but so floral and aromatic. Don't be turned off by the fact that it's crystallised. It's actually great like this. It's almost like a delicious buttery paste that you can just spread on a sourdough toast - breakfast done! Once you get used to it, you can't go back to a regular runny honey - just not the same thing! The texture is not of a typical crystallised honey - it's actually a lot more buttery.
The Raw Honey Shop
Dear Chingiz, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review for the Organic Spring Forest & Berry Blossom Honey. Its really amazing to read your feedback on the taste and texture and to read how much you have loved this honey. It also really helps other customers who may not be so sure of the honey if they see its crystalised. Best wishes The Raw Honey Shop

Really tasty
This is a really nice honey, its great with my morning porridge oats! Great sweetener alternative as well.

Every honey is different.
Thease honeys are sublime individual tastes and silent notes, as nature intended....

Lithuanian honey
I was a little disappointed with the Spring Forest ... honey, finding the taste rather insipid when compared with the wonderful dark honeys I usually buy. But I'm sure more discerning palates than mine will like it.
