Vicky who is the sister of organic beekeeper Dimitris, studied the works of Hippocrates and developed this drink from his recipe. It is a sweet-sour ancient Greek health drink from organic honey and vinegar. It is a product without chemicals, preservatives or additives, and is made with good quality grape vinegar which comes from a vineyard where organic practices are being used, and organic forest honey.
The sharpness of the vinegar is perfectly combined with honey, while the sweetness of honey is tempered by vinegar. This seasoning is a combination of two very beneficial products that are used in daily nutrition.
Vinegar, reduces the greasiness of food, while honey has a dissolving effect. Oxymeli can be used as a dressing, for salads, for grilled vegetables, for main courses, or as a marinades or as a sauce, as well as a topping for yogurt and ice cream.
Oxymeli has digestive properties and if dissolved in water can be an all-day refreshing drink.

It is a forested reserve, a very pure and wild area, with soil and climate that enables the bees to produce very special honeys - with a depth and intensity of flavour that you only find in the very best honeys. Organic beekeepers Vicky & Dimitris believe that honey in the jar should be as it was in the hives.
