Greek beekeeper Thomas sent a video message to us as he receives 75 new hives.

- following the catastrophic storm that drowned his hives.

Our last update from Greek beekeeper Thomas was when he was in the midst of the slow and laborious clean-up following the catastrophic floods caused by Storm Daniel in September last year that drowned 300 of his hives.

A years' worth of rain fell in one night.

It was wonderful to hear from Thomas this week as he received a delivery of 75 new hives that were purchased with the funds from the Just Giving Appeal that raised an incredible £5,002.78 from 141 generous supporters - many of these donations came from fans of his amazing raw honeys.

Giorgios his father is also working on repairing some hives that were salvageable following the flood damage.

Thomas is still some way from getting fully back on his feet but he is enormously grateful for the donations made and will continue to share updates from Thomas through 2024 as he continues to rebuild his business. Listen to his message below.
