Antonio's Raw Organic Eucalyptus Honey is a really beautiful tasting honey; it has a wonderfully fruity creaminess along with a very mild eucalyptus/menthol aftertaste. Suitable for all ages as it is not overbearing in any way. This is a relatively light-tasting tree honey. It shares characteristics with other herbal honeys, such as thyme or sage. This particular honey is a deep shade of orange amber when runny and when set it turns to a creamy tan.
Eucalyptus honey facts: Eucalyptus honey is a variety with a unique composition. It contains traces of eucalyptol which gives it its fresh revitalizing taste. This essential oil is often used in aromatherapy as a decongestant and antiseptic.
Antonio's Raw Organic Thyme Honey has a soft creamy taste with a gentle herbal hint of thyme, subtle and slightly savoury, ideal for all the family due to its balanced and pleasing flavour. This is a light creamy tasting herb flower honey which has a soft and subtle herbal taste. It comes from bees feeding on the small flowers on the thyme plant, this is a very mild honey with a gentle hint of thyme, a little similar to blossom honey.
Colour: Antonio’s thyme honey is a dark amber when runny and a light sandy brown when set.
Antonio's Raw Organic Chestnut Honey is a deep and malty-tasting tree honey. It has a beautiful, rich and nutty flavour, which many people adore.
This honey comes from bees feeding on Sweet Chestnut trees.
It is quite different from the blossom varieties which are light and subtle - this is dark and more potent. Mid to dark brown in colour, a slight red in the light.
More on the flavour: Antonio's raw organic chestnut honey is a beautiful, deep-flavoured variety. It has slight caramel notes as well as a deep sweetness and a touch of bitterness too. The nutty flavour of the chestnut carries through as well as a taste a little similar to maple syrup but slightly more rich and malty. Chestnut can lend a bitter taste to honey but not always, it is known to be one of the most varied types of honey in taste, differing greatly from one area to another and from one season to the next.
Plamen's Raw Organic Acacia Honeycomb contains a very mild and pleasant acacia honey, with a soft and light taste of creamy vanilla and a hint of floral blossoms. Honeycomb is the best way to eat honey because honeycomb often includes bee bread (fermented pollen mixed with honey and enzymes), royal jelly and propolis in the cells - some of the most nutritious products of the hive.
Please know that raw honey does crystalise and this is a natural process that occurs mainly due to the natural glucose in raw honey. For more information on why honey sets visit this article and for a more scientific explanation go to wikipedia.
If you would prefer your honey to be runny, you can easily return it to a runny state by gently warming it up. To do this, we recommend wrapping it in a towel and placing it on a radiator overnight at low temperature, or in a recipient with warm water (not boiling). Give it a while and it will eventually turn runny again.

- eucalyptus honey
I wasn't expecting them all to be this good. I bought this Variety Set due to this Virus going around and expecting a lockdown. I didn't want to run out. Soon as they arrived I was beavering away to open the very well packed packaging. Next was the taste test. I took out three bottles and off with the lids. I have a honey spoon used solely for honey, and that went first to the Chestnut. I wasn't expecting too much. The first taste was what I can only call "an explosion of pleasure!" A honey designed in heaven. The Thyme honey I already knew however still went to try as taste can differ between batches. This one was better than my current in use bottle, will be used on Crumpets and my night cap. 250ml warm milk and a teaspoon of Thyme honey. I sleep like a log. I saved the Eucalyptus honey for last as it was one my Dad and I did back in Zimbabwe. First impression was, "no not quiet. I did a second teaspoon and realised it was milder but so close. I could make out the menthol aftertaste. It was a very good second to that but then again 50 years on I'll not shake a stick to this fact, my taste has changed. All round this pack is delightful. I am happy and can recommend them all. Now I'm going to see and hope my storage is adequate. Currently in a room that is a constant 25-35 deg C. After a week in there they're returning to their runniness. One jar of chestnut is nearly finished as that is so yummy. I will be back once I am nearing the end of these.
