From an untouched, wild and diverse landscape close to the French border in northern Spain.

Ramon’s raw Multifloral honey has a light and creamy taste. It varies a little from batch to batch as the flowers change due to the season but tends to have a slight vanilla flavour with a hint of wild flowers. Popular with most people and suitable for children due to its balanced and light taste.

More on the flavour: This is a creamy, sweet tasting mixed flower honey, it has a light taste of vanilla and a hint of wild meadow flowers. It comes from bees feeding on small wild flowers in the Mediterranean area. Different from the tree honey which comes from sap, this honey tends to be very mild and subtle and sets quicker than others.

Colour: This honey is a slightly creamy orange colour.

Where does this honey come from? This variety of Multifloral honey comes from Aragon in Spain, a largely untouched, wild and diverse landscape close to the French border at the north and borders with Valencia to the south.

Who produces this honey? This Multifloral variety comes from Uncle Ramon, a friendly hip beekeeper with a passion for traditional methods of honey production. Ramon produces a wide variety of different honey, all completely raw with nothing added or taken away.

What about the plant the honey comes from? The wild flowers and flora of the Pyrenees are vast amongst the mountainous regions, there are red poppies, purple borage, gentians, orchids, saxifrage and Pyrenean buttercups just to name a few!

Common Uses: Multifloral honey is particularly good to use as a skin treatment to aid in clearing blemishes, spots and acne. It is also very versatile in different recipes, such as: a glaze for meats, with salads, cakes, flapjacks, breads and teas.

Multifloral Honey Facts: Multifloral honey varies widely depending on the areas the bees have been feeding on, it can be wild meadows or just a mix of any flora in the local area. Ramon’s honey tends to be quite similar each time, light, creamy, and medium sweet.

Please know that raw honey does crystalize.  This is a natural process that occurs due to high levels of natural glucose separating from naturally occurring water. For more information on why honey sets
