This set contains two of our finest raw honeys - a hugely popular double platinium awarded forest honey from Mount Olympus (500g) and probably the best raw Thyme honey (500g) in the world, four times Great Taste  triple award winner. Presented in a gift box with a wonderful hand crafted olive wood honey dipper.

Greek Organic Forest Honey from Mount Olympus : Platinum Quality Award 2021 and 2022 in the London Honey Awards. This honey has an outstanding and complex flavour and is from the forests on the slopes of the seat of the Gods, Mount Olympus. 

How does it taste: This honey has a strong depth of flavour much like an Oak honey but what makes it special is the complex flavour from the herbs that grow on Mount Olympus.  A very special honey and well deserved award winner.

About the beekeepers: One of our very trusted beekeepers, Asterios introduced us to this honey from Dimitris.  Asterios is lucky enough to have an amazing network of fellow artisan Greek beekeepers and he was very excited for us to taste this honey.  Organic beekeeper Dimitris who has his hives on Mount Olympus believes that honey in the jar should be as it was in the hives and produces the highest quality honey which keeps winning awards.

More on honeydew honey: This is a dark thick honey – it is known as a honeydew, because it is mainly from the sap and resin of the tree not from flower nectar.  Honeydews are high in oligosaccharides, which are known for their prebiotic qualities- aiding the good bacteria that support good health.

Raw Greek Thyme honey: This is one of the best Thyme honeys in the world - as demonstrated by the top awards it keeps winning, due to the craft of the beekeeper Giorgios. This honey is produced near Delphi, famous from Greek myths. - considered the centre of the world. Delphi is a place where the climate and soil combine with Giorgios' bees and his beekeeping craft to produce sublime honey. 

How does it taste:  The Great Taste Judges said: "This is a glorious honey, with a clear amber colour and delicate herbal aroma.... develops slowly with complex layers of fresh thyme and beautifully balanced sweetness....with a finish that allows the just-right sweetness and light herbal tastes to melt together."
