Egli’s' Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a superior quality olive oil obtained directly from olives, hand-picked and cold-pressed to create a superb flavour. They come from a hillside olive grove owned by Egli and her husband Sotiris. It is certified organic and produced to biodynamic principles in a place that is a haven for nature. What makes Egli’s oil stand out is that it is higher in polyphenols than any other olive oil we have seen tested.  Egli aims to capture these polyphenols at their peak, which is why the oil is extracted on the very same day that the olives are picked.  They are hand-picked as machines can bruise the olives. Awards this exceptional oil has received include 1st place in the Kalamata Olive Oil Awards in 2020.

Origin - The oil comes from a place where nature is left in control and there is minimum intervention. It is far from land where chemicals are used. 

About the producer - Egli and her husband  Sotiris are a young dynamic couple who believe in doing what they can to protect the planet. They are fully committed to the organic lifestyle. Sotiris is an also an inspector for one of Greece's main organic certifiers, so he is very knowledgeable about organic practices. They have found the perfect place for putting their beliefs into practice in the olive grove they acquired in a very remote place.  They use a mixture of traditional and cutting edge approaches - combing the best of the old and new to create superb tasting olive oil, which is very high in polyphenols.

Storage: Keep it in a dark, cool cupboard away from the stove or other heat-producing appliances. Olive oil is ultimately perishable but has a long life. If stored properly, this extra virgin olive oil can last up to 2 years.
